DESCRIPTION:A silent reading hour for adults and teens in the library's Ma
lmros Room. The library says: "Need to set aside a little time to read? We
'll have a room and refreshments available!" and "Bring your own book\, ma
gazine\, or audiobook (with headphones!) and we'll supply some treats to f
uel an hour of silent reading. At the end of the hour\, stay for a few min
utes to chat about your book if you like." It says the programme is funded
by the Friends of the Bettendorf Public Library. The listing sets no regi
stration requirement -- no registration window exists on it -- and names n
o admission price\, and this library prints no blanket free-admission sent
ence\, so no cost is claimed here.\n\nSource: https://bettendorflibrary.li
