A source behind every fact.

Schools and city feeds, business websites, and community publishers provide the information. Each detail keeps its source and the date it was checked. Conflicting claims stay visible so corrections can be made with evidence.

A date means something.

“Checked” is when the source was observed, not when a page was redesigned. Some imported information needs a new check. An unknown event time is never filled with a guess, and a map distance is never presented as a measured drive time.

A directory for 61270.

Places features named businesses and public destinations with sourced 61270 postal information. A calendar address alone does not create a place listing. Unidentified addresses and locations awaiting public-access verification stay out of the directory.

Independent, and neighborly.

This is an unofficial community reference. Facebook pages are link-only. Private individuals do not get profile pages; school-published athlete mentions stay inside school or event content.

Sponsorship stays in its own lane.

Sponsored listings are labeled. A payment cannot change a fact, ordinary listing order, or the selection of sources. Directory inclusion is not an endorsement. Any promotion of an owner-affiliated business, including Madi-Do Flowers, is labeled as a house promotion, separate from editorial picks.

A business can also pay a monthly or annual fee to add its own description, hours, photos and links to its directory page. Those sections are marked Paid business profile and say so in plain words; every line in one is read by an editor before it appears; and the fee buys presentation inside that business’s own Explore section and nothing else — not search results, not the calendar, not the front page, not any event listing. The free directory listing underneath is unchanged, and it stays free.

A lighter footprint.

We count page views and actions in aggregate. There are no advertising trackers. Saved places stay on your device. Email subscriptions require confirmation and can be ended at any time. Original source images and map tiles may load from their publishers.
