American Legion Post 328 Veterans Day Service at Grove Hill Cemetery

The Morrison American Legion Post 328 marks Veterans Day with a service at Grove Hill Cemetery at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, November 11 -- the eleventh hour of the eleventh day of the eleventh month, as the Post's own annual calendar notes. The Post publishes the date and time on that calendar and does not print a street address; the cemetery is in Morrison. When the Post last announced this service through the local press, in 2024, its Honor Guard conducted the service at the Veterans Park and Memorial inside Grove Hill Cemetery, directly opposite Northside School, and everyone was invited to attend; the 2026 calendar names only the cemetery. Earlier the same week the Post holds its membership Veterans dinner in place of its November meeting.
