Sterling Park District runs a millennium-themed "Double Bubble Fridays" open swim at the Duis Center, 211 East 23rd Street in Sterling, on three Friday nights this winter — December 18, 2026, January 29, 2027 and February 26, 2027 — each from 7 to 9 p.m. In the district's words: "We're throwing it back to the millennium! Join us for open swim and take advantage of 2-for-1 admission! Grab your friends and come party like it's the year 2000!" Admission is two-for-one on those nights against the centre's published open-swim rates of $7.50 for ages 6 and up and $5.00 for ages 5 and under. A lifeguard is on duty for open swim, and ages 8 and under must be accompanied in the water by an adult 16 or older. No registration is listed. This is a Sterling offering, not a Morrison one.
