Hobby Fair - Bettendorf Public Library

A two-hour fair where local clubs introduce their hobbies, in the library's Bettendorf Room. The library lists the groups currently slated to be represented: Davenport Radio Amateur Club, Hawkeye Fly Fishing Association, Hilltop Community Orchestra, Popular Astronomy Club, QC Chordbusters, Quad Cities Federation of Square Dancers, Quad Cities Woodturners, Quad City Audubon Society and Scott County Master Gardeners. It adds that its Creation Studio will host an open house with tool demonstrations, where visitors can engrave and cut an initialled keytag, make a button, or cut and assemble a gift box. The library credits support from the Bettendorf Public Library Foundation and title sponsor Arconic Foundation. The listing sets no registration requirement -- no registration window exists on it -- and names no admission price, and this library prints no blanket free-admission sentence, so no cost is claimed here.
