Hometown Holidays Christmas Walk

Downtown Rock Falls holds its Hometown Holidays Christmas Walk from 5 to 8 p.m. on Friday, November 20, 2026. Rock Falls Tourism, which publishes the notice, calls it a tradition of nearly forty years and lists local businesses decorated for the holidays, holiday music, food and drink, activities for all ages, festive photo opportunities and Santa. Admission is free and all ages are welcome in the organiser's own words. There is no single venue: the hours belong to the downtown, so this row carries no street address. Two parts of the evening have their own conditions the organiser prints: the Love Light Ceremony at 6 p.m. at Rock Falls United Methodist Church, 210 4th Ave., where a name may be registered for $5 with a November 8 deadline, and a $1,000 cash giveaway at 7:30 p.m. that is free to enter with no purchase or entry fee but is limited to ages 18 and over.
