Horse-drawn wagon rides and Santa at the Holiday Light Display

On Saturday, November 28, 2026, at the Holiday Light Display in Centennial Park, Rock Falls, Rock Falls Tourism says no vehicles will be allowed to drive through the park: horse-drawn wagon rides provided by Northern Star Farm run through the display from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. instead, with the last ride boarding at 8:15 p.m. The organiser asks visitors to park on the side roads and walk into the park, because the entrance is closed off that evening. Santa Claus, Mrs. Claus and what the organiser calls a special guest visit the park the same evening from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m., inside the little red schoolhouse. Admission is free each event night and donations are welcome at the gate; the organiser says all monetary donations go to the Coloma Township Park District.
