A monthly knitting-and-crocheting session with a documentary showing. The library says to bring your own yarn and supplies or use some of theirs, that people who do not want to craft are still welcome to come and enjoy the movie, and that coffee and light refreshments will be provided. The November 14 film is "Fly With Me" (rated TV-14), about the women who became flight attendants at a time when single women could not order a drink, eat alone in a restaurant, own a credit card or get a prescription for birth control. The library prints "Registration is not required" and lists the program as best suited for adults. Accommodation requests go to reference@davenportlibrary.com.
