Morrison High School would like to extend its best wishes to rising seniors Blaine Williams and Gavin Streets Wood as they begin their participation in the American Legion’s Illinois Premier Boys State leadership program and government simulation at Eastern Illinois University. The program will run from June 8 through June 14. Blaine and Gavin (shown prior to their June 8 departure from the Rock Falls American Legion Post) will join students from across Illinois as they participate in a simulation of government at the local, state, and federal levels and learn about running meetings, campaigning for office, and working with others to achieve shared goals.

Thank you, as well, to Morrison American Legion Post 328 for its significant financial support for the program.
