Sterling Schools Days Off Open Swim

On the days Sterling's schools are out over the winter, Sterling Park District opens the Duis Center pool, 211 East 23rd Street in Sterling, for a $1 open swim from 1 to 3 p.m. The district prints eleven such afternoons: December 21, 22, 23, 28, 29 and 30, 2026; January 4, 5 and 18, 2027; and February 15 and 24, 2027. It is drop-in — no registration is listed — and the district's one stated condition is that "ages 8 and under must be accompanied in the water by an adult 16 years of age or older." The guide publishes no cancellation policy, so call the Duis Center at 815-622-6200 before setting out if the weather is bad. This is a Sterling offering, not a Morrison one.
