Students in Morrison High School’s Driver Education classes learned about the importance of automobile insurance and safe driving during a presentation from Country Financial representatives Michael Briscoe and Christina Wetzell on Thursday, May 19. Mrs. Wetzell, who oversees safety education and marketing for the Michael Briscoe Agency, also discussed the tragic 2019 crash that claimed the life of her 19-year-old daughter, Julia. Mr. Briscoe discussed insurance terminology for consumers, and he walked students through an activity to calculate how much liability insurance a particular driver needs based on his or her assets and earning potential.
