Toys for Tots Fill-the-Truck

Whiteside County Marine Toys for Tots collects new, unopened toys. The organisers describe the events as planned for 8 to 11 a.m. Donation boxes are also placed in Sterling, Rock Falls and Morrison, though no Morrison site is named. Families in need can register at sterling-il.toysfortots.org through December 1; last year's programme served 1,025 children, and more than 75 families signed up in the first few days this year. Distribution begins in mid-December.
