A four-mile fun run and walk that opens the city's Winterfest celebration at The Landing ice rink. In the organiser's own words: "Join us as we kick off Winterfest with a 4-mile frolic on Bettendorf's beautiful trails! Runners, walkers, kids, strollers, and four-legged friends - all are welcome! Each registered participant receives a medal and a ticket for a FREE drink at Winterfest at The Landing following the run!" The organiser adds "this run is for fun and not timed". The route is given as east on Middle Road, south on 23rd Street, then the trail east roughly to Devils Glen Park and back to The Landing. Bettendorf is in the Quad Cities, about an hour west of Morrison.
